Bless you, friend! I've lit a candle for them <3

This looks so amazing! Anatomy, foreshortening, everything looks so perfect! i really like how you blurred out the back. Only one thing to mention is that the top of the ears got blurred along. Still an amazing piece! And thanks haha you noticed my entry!

Clootie responds:

All I can say is grab lots of photos for reference for these things. I may well have got good anatomy here, but I couldn't tell you what muscle is what....I just used the photos to guide me.

Well spotted on the blurred ears. I've fixed that now : )

I like Jazza and his videos too, so yeah it was cool to see yours come up. Strengthen up the line-work next time round and you could win the category next time! : )

The folds look so nice! Really captures the baggy clothing style!

Clootie responds:

Hey, thanks again : )

This is more you're thing than mine as far as the cartoon style goes, but I think it turned out good.

Now....back to the animal series!

Beautiful and so graceful!

I've seen all your work up to "Ready for School!" one, but i must say this one is still my favorite!
Don't get me wrong, they all look marvelous!!

Volarberg responds:

I'm very glad you like it! :)

I really like your animal series! It looks really different from your other work but i really love it! Maybe you want to keep the style of drawing for other categories too? :D

Clootie responds:

Hi and thanks for your really nice comments and suggestions : )

I must admit, I had no plans initially to do an animal series, but I seem to be on this crazy train that just keeps going lol

I've got another 4 or 5 on the go as we speak! I hope you'll like them when they're finished.

As you suggest, I will keep up this style now for many things. I have plans to do many many series on everything from landscapes and shots of Earth from space to scare-crows and fruit bowls!

So by all means stay tuned if you like the sound of that - I'll bring you lots more : )

Nice! You nailed the rust effect pretty much! The rocks look a bit too 'organic' to be called rocks tho. Overal nice work! :) What is that chimney looking thing coming out of the floor?

Ciullo-Corporation responds:

Thank you! It's a metal angular bar, just another debris to fill the scene.

Mmh, one of the first use of metaballs... actually I took this pic out one of our first test videos just to put something else in the presentation we're going to do this weekend.
